About me
I am kiki a single mom of two. We live in the south and I work in IT during the day.
As a single mom, I’ve experienced my share of heartaches and challenges. But, in spite of those moments, God has delivered me to the other side.. to the victorious side!
I feel I have learned a few things during those challenges and would love to help those who are either going through it or connect with those amazing mama’s that have transitioned to the other side.
In today’s society where everyone’s performing for a camera and people put their lives on display for “likes” and “follows”, I created Yetopia to offer resources for women, particularly single moms, to be REAL.
A safe space for women to have Real Talk; to share their struggles without judgment.
A place for women to find solidarity in a world that can be so isolating.
So often we feel like we are the only person dealing with a particular issue, but in reality, we are NOT!
My hope is that you leave my site encouraged, uplifted, empowered and one step closer to living a life of authenticity.
I look forward to connecting with You, here at my virtual space!
A FEW FUN FACTS:
- I speak with a slight southern accent.
- My girls are 12 years and 10 years old.
- I love a cup of Folgers in the morning.
- I don’t like cheese or butter but love ‘Kitfo’.
- I don’t know how to make injera and after many attempts, it’s just not that important to me, so I enjoy the store-bought when I can.
